Canvas vs. Paper Prints

Fine Art Paper Prints

Paper is the traditional format for photography wall art and is a time-tested aesthetic choice for displaying artwork in your home or office.  Paper prints provide beautiful detail when paired with a high performance photo paper and give you the opportunity to select frames to match existing furniture decor.

We use a 100% cotton, smooth textured, fine art photo paper for all of our prints.  The material is archivable museum qualify meaning that your framed wall art will not fade or deteriorate over time. The paper boasts beautiful coloration, amazing contrast and is acid free for a longer print life.

Paper printing is the time-honored and classical method of displaying artwork.

Canvas Prints

Canvas prints are a modern and stylish approach to displaying art.  Canvas frames are lightweight and easy to install in your home or office which can remove some of the headaches when it comes time to transport or hang.

When selecting photography wall decor it is best to consider the size of the space you need to fill.  If you have a larger space you will want a larger image and the canvas format will provide you with the most affordable wall art option when compared to traditional printing and framing.

Canvas prints feature a beautiful “painterly” effect when printed largely do to the surface material being printed on.  Canvas is also a great option if you are wanting to display work in humid areas where moisture is a concern.

Our canvas prints can either be stretched onto a wood frame or rolled if you would like to do the custom framing yourself.  All canvases are made from satin and dried to prevent cracking or warping over time. All of the materials used are certified archivable and will stand the test of time.
